There were no famous tourist attractions on today's itinerary.
The night before departure, I sat beside a small wooden table at my guesthouse and looked through a map. That's when I found a place in eastern South France known as “one of the most beautiful canyons in Europe.”
So I made a sudden decision:
“Let's go hiking tomorrow.”
To be honest, I was a little hesitant at first.
After all, most of my daily life is spent in the city.
Every day is filled with computers, meetings, and message notifications. I rarely get the chance to truly walk for several hours and let myself slow down.
So when I stepped outside that morning, I secretly set a small goal for myself:
“If I get tired, I'll just head back early.”
But unexpectedly, this day became the most unforgettable memory of my entire journey through South France.
